1996 Camry Auto Tranny problems?

My camry's clutch slips in the 1st to 2nd shifts? What needs to be done?

First you should do a tranny flush. Second you should get better brand of tranny fluid. Any Redline ATF is highly recommended.

I'm not sure how bad your tranny is slipping but that would be the last solution I can think of.

I didn't take it in yet because Toyota serviced it and changed the tranny fluid in april this year.

Change and flush are totally different. You only need less than half the actual amount for changing, most of the fluid will still be left inside the torque converter.

Most dealerships will just change it for you unless you request them to flush it. Flushing with a machine is a 99% flush that change almost all the fluids.

I meant it was changed and flushed at the dealer. After about 4 months after the tranny fluid flush/ change, it started slipping? Should it be fklushed and changed again or should I have the tranny rebuilt?
