Have a 2000 camry with about 87,000 miles. Every now and then when I hit the gas, the car doesn't seem to respond. I have to put the pedal to the metal to get some decent acceleration. Anyone know what causes this? Point me in the right direction.
like they said, check your throttle cable, check your air filter (or change it) and clean your TB while you're at it.
if it's been a while, new spark plugs and a fuel filter couldn't hurt either.
