Thumbs up Gen 3 Window Regulator Replacement Success

I'm happy to report the aftermarket ebay window regulator + motor replacement part is a factory fit. (i paid ~$55 shipped)

I bought the one for my driver's side front window and the installation went without a hitch. All you need is a 10mm socket wrench after you get the door panel off.

I will try to post more details of the entire install later. right now i have to go to walmart to buy some sylvania silverstars.

DON'T get ripped off at the dealer! yes, you read it correctly, new regulator and motor for under $60. total install time under 1 hour. ez weekend project.

I need to replace the motor in my passenger rear window. Seems like you got a nice deal.

you are correct sir.

however it seems your window motor is still functioning (it still makes the motor noise) but the regulator (the cable and track assembly that guides the window up and down) is bad. just get the regulator and motor assembly together, it is easier that way and you only pay ~$20 more on ebay.
