If it's anything like the gen2's, it might be held on by a couple of screws from the backside of the grill.

From the look of that pic, it was just photoshopped off that. In order to do it on '92 you would have to remove the pieve and take it apart. And then see if they come off (if this is the red piece and not the color matching one).

Otherwise We (Sportivo Concepts) Sell Scepter center panels

TAKE OFF THE PANEL WITH NEEDLE NOSED PLYERS, NEEDLE-VICE GRIP WHICH EVER WORKS BEST FOR YOU . . .

I Think There's Like 7 Bolts . . .
And One Bolt Hidden Behind Each Of The Casings For Your Tail/Brake Lights . . .

OKAY . . .

Sand Down To Metal 60 Or 80 Grit Saves Alot Of Time On This Step . . .
Primer It Up (Add An Extra 3 Layers) . . .
Take 150 - 180 Grit Paper, Gently, To Smooth Primer Out . . .
Use The Paint Of Your Choice . . .
Followed Up With The Clear Coat Of Your Choice . . .

I Used Dupli-Color All The Way . . .
Found At Advance Auto Parts . . .

What Color Is Your Car ?

To get it like that picture, we use a magical thing called paint.
