tein coilovers on a gen 3

Too bad I am not paying attention to group buys, and didn't get in on the D2s. Instead, I fit the Tein coilovers from the gen 4 and solaras to fit my gen 3. So far so good.

Here's a couple of pics:

My one guess is that the struts for the gen 4 and gen 3 are almost identical. The rears to me seemed like they were exactly the same. The fronts were different since the gen 4 has a FSB. But then that might just be because it was a V6. Since these are SS, they don't come with mounts. You use the stock mounts. All you have to do is put the mounts from a gen 3 on there. The fronts were a little different cause I bought gen 3.5 mounts. The groves are not a perfect fit, but they held while I tightened the bolt to hold the strut mount. If I had used a gen 4 strut mount, it should ahve fit, but they were so expensive.
