Gen 3.5 - Corner + Bumper Lights Blink For Turn Signal...Possible?
I'm curious as to whether it's possible to wire the corner and bumper lights to blink alternatively when the turn signals are on? My cousin's Accord is like that and it's a lot easier for other drivers to see when you're trying to make a turn and they're parallel to your car. The front turn signal light is useless unless you're directly in front of the car. Any help is appreciated.. I've been curious about this for a while.
BTW, what about having the bumper lights on when the headlights are on like the Integra? Just a thought

It's easy enough to make them both blink at the same time, but alternating would be a little harder.
Just to get them to blink you could splice the turn signal wire and wire in the corner lamp too. You may have to put a larger fuse in, but most likely not. Easy enough.
Alternating would take a relay. I'm not really sure how to do it. Zoni will have it in just a little bit.

That'd be awesome! My cousin is going to install my EL gauges for me this weekend hopefully, so I'll ask him if he can do the lights as well. This forum is awesome, I'm glad I found it.

Scroll down to where it says corner lamp flashers.
Parking light in the instructions = corner light or parking lights.
I don't know the wire colors for a gen 3, so you'll have to figure that out with a DMM (digital multimeter).
Oh cool, thanks. Any idea as to how long it'll take? I should put my clear corners in.. But I had trouble taking the stock ones out and I haven't tried again yet.

Shouldn't take very long at all if you know what your doing.
1. Remove the screw on top of the corner light. You have to open the hood to see it.
2. Put the palm of your hand against the light and push forward at the same time.
I removed the screw from each light, and it moved slightly but did not come out all the way. I tried pulling it out, as well as trying to slide/push it out with the palm of my hand. One side looked like the hole for the screw was going to crack if I tried any harder.. Hard to explain, but it was rubbing against something else and that's why it looked like it was going to crack. I think I'm just stupid or my car is giving me a hard time!
I guess I'll try again later, or just wait for my cousin to help me. I'm hesitant because I don't feel like breaking it off
Thanks for the detailed pics with instructions. I'll print that out and save it for future reference.
