Gen 3 Camry Tranny Question

Hey again tn..i decided to start a new thread for this other question about the automatic tranny on my 93 gen 3 4-cyl camry..whats happening recently is that in the mornings when i get in the car and start it up and put it into drive..it'll basically not catch the drive gear for a couple seconds n then will go..n then when i go up the hill to get outta my driveway..the tranny gets outta drive and i think into neutral for a sec..n then it'll go back to normal..what i have found is that if i hold the shifter back in drive..it wont do it..this problem all started a year or so ago when i would use the low gear to go down really steep hills..then, the car wouldnt go into low gear at once..it would stay in drive n then make it into low..these days i hafta hold the shifter back in low for it to stay in low..and thats just in the mornings or so..during the day, its perfectly fine..i am hoping this is something as simple as checking my tranny fluid..which probably has not been changed ever before..but the car only has like 50k miles on it..not stateside miles but island miles..which mean up and down hills and what not..so before i go out paying mechanics to have the tranny looked at and what not..please advise as to what i have gotten myself into and what can be done to correct it..im hoping it isnt a new tranny but if it is..can someone tell me my alternatives..thanks in advance..

If you put more load on the tranny by riding on this type of terrain you're going to need to change the fluids more frequently than the regular interval (someone know the number for this?)

Alternative to buying a new tranny is to repair your current tranny or buy a used one. And for the cost of repairing it, might aswell buy new/used.

You ned tou ran spill check yo.
