USA 94 Camry

Workin on a 94 camry 4 cyl . ok engine reves up and drops at idle sometimes dies at stop light or stop signs. after driving for a while dies ! wont start for about 15 min to 1 hr plus!! got codes pulled came up with " DTC 12 - engine speed ( RPM ) sensor circuit,also DTC 22 -ECT sensor circuit " . I'm a DIY but dont know where these sensor's are located, also is there a way to test these sensor's ??

The ect sensor check is in a sticky here. It involves pulling the sensor while the engine is running and looking for improved idle. The sensor should be near the throttle body. There's a row of the sensors, its the one nearest the engine block. The sticky says it should be green but mine was silver.
