1994 Cam Stock Speaker Removal

i just purchased new 6x9 speakers (for the rear) to replace the stock speakers...and the grill covers dont pop off...and honestly i dont wanna break anything...if anyone could tell me how to get those things out that'd be great

It's on here do a search for specifics.
But basically, remove bottom rear seat so you can access the two bolster cushions by each rear door. They need to come off so you can remove the whole rear parcel shelf.
Once the parcel shelf is off, it's all there. No, don't try to pop those grills off.
Also rest of world 6x9s don't mount right as holes don't match toyota's mounts. There is no quick and easy adapter, cut, drill or doubles sided tape are your options.

yep, you have to take the whole back seat out, i did a guide with pics a while back, maybe you can still find it.
basically
-seat cushons pull straight out
-remove corner cushions
-remove rear shelf

adapters for the 6 x 9 speakers are hard to find. i know that www.crutchfield.com has plastic adaptators, but they will only let you mount a 6.5 in. speaker in the rear deck. what i ended up doing was drilling, its not that hard.

yeah you need to drill out the holes. i used a sawsall to cut the holes in the deck bigger. it really was not that hard.
