Unhappy Gen 3 4 cyl. Please help

I have a Gen 3 that won't start. It turns over but it won't catch. My shifter column won't shift out of park and I have to tow it. Can anyone help me with this?

Well, not sure what year yours is but the first thing to do would be to check all the fuses. The cig&radio fuse (15 amp), ECU-ig fuse (15amp), and stop light fuse (15 amp) are all part of the shift interlock system. those 3 fuses are in the fuse panel on the left side of the dash inside the car. If your only concerned about towing it, the tow truck should be able to lift it from the front and tow it without any problems.

Okay we got it towed and without a tow truck. We finally got it to shift frrom park.
Now it just won't catch. I listened for the fuel pump but I have no idea where it is located to know for sure. Can someone tell me where it is. Mine is a 92. Thanks

Its inside the fuel tank. But theres a handy little access hole to get to it under your back seat. Happy new year....
