'94 Camry with musty smell in A/C

I don't believe the '94 Camry has a cabin filter, so has anyone a method to clean out or disinfect the blower housing or whatever it may be that causing a somewhat musty smell whenever the fan is used to bring in fresh air or when the A/C is running.

Thanks for your suggestions in advance.

There should be a small tube that runs from the interior of your cabin to underneath the car...there to drain condensation that accumulates on the inside of the car. On my gen 4 it is rubber and is on the underside of the car just past the engine/tranny (near where exhaust runs). Ensure this isn't clogged. Second, you'll need get behind your dash to access your heater/air unit...and possibly the evaporator core. Once you access it spray a commercial disinfectant/deodorizer at the core. Run recirc on highest heat setting the dry it out. Haynes manual should have a full explaination for this procedure with photos. Avail at any parts store.

You can also turn the fan on high, set it for fresh air, and spray the vents at the bottom of the windshield (the ones on the outside of the car).

You can use Lysol or find something at a autoparts store.
