Just got my Whiteline bars, rear one went on no problem(and is awesome in the corners). I'm having some trouble with the front one. The D bushings that came with the bar wont fit under the saddle mounts. Anyone know where I can get saddles that will fit the Whiteline bushings, or some bushings that will work on the 24mm front bar and retain the stock saddles? If anyone has part numbers or suppliers that would be great!

Thanks
Russell

You'll have to force it in with lots of lube. And tighten one bolt at a time.

Yup, you can get it in. I disagree with F1Chris though. I say don't tighten one bolt on the clamp at a time... When I tried that, I could not push the other side down far enough to engage the bolt because the bushing is a little oversized. Instead, I suggest start threading one bolt a couple turns and then start the other. It'll take some time. I think these front bushings suck.

Rartugar and anybody else with the FSB (front sway bar): do you experience any more noise than before? I have LOTS of SICK KNOCKING NOISE from the right front assy. I had the common suspension noise when oem but it seems like it's louder and more frequent than ever. I added a FSTB (front strut tower brace) to reduce abnormal mechanical stresses produced by the FSB and it helps a little.

I also have this sick grinding noise when I moderately gas it in reverse. argh. i think i'm going back to stock on the FSB. i hate all these noises. i'm freakin paranoid

NYCTRDCAMRY: did you have experience with changing the whiteline front bushings to energy suspension and WHY?

SGG, that's actually what I meant, but you explained it better. I don't have any knocking noise? Did you get the bolts tightened properly? Also, it's possible you may have damaged the rubber boots on the end links that connect to the bar...they contain a lot of grease in them.

i tightened the clamp bolts as tight as possible, which is what i think you recommended to me when i asked a month ago.

didn't you find that the endlink ball joint studs were a tad too short for the swaybar thickness? the nut only engaged about 2/3 of the way.

in any case, the knocking is lessened by the FSTB. but now I have this grinding noise in reverse and forward! argh!!!
