Question Diagnose my 96 Cam Starting Issue

Hello all, I'm hoping someone has an idea what may be causing the following issue.

I have a 96 Camry LE automatic with 85,000 mi. Runs great, haven't had any problems except for when I'm starting it.

Cold or warm, I have to turn the key on and off up to 10 times to get it to start. I don't hear any clicking or other noise, just nothing for the first few key turns, followed by a couple of turns where the motor tries to turn over, then it will just start up strong (usually after the 5rd key turn) and run fine. I've had this condition for the last couple of months and the battery checks out fine.

The funny thing is that this condition persists whether its been sitting in the garage all weekend, or if I've just killed the motor for a few minutes to gas up.

Any ideas what may be the culprit?

strange...get your hands on a digital multimeter and check voltage to the starter with the help of a friend...then get your starter tested at some auto parts store (all of mine do it). odd problem. might be wiring harness, but check easier stuff ^first.
