Question about 18x8 rims for 1999 camry le 4cyl.

i just got a set 18" rims.....its 18x8 offset 42.....will it fit on my car(1999 camry le 4cyl.).....and i plan to used 225/40/18....will it rub...do i need to install any wheel spacer to make it fit ..thanks

let me see, you got a set of wheels, and instead of test fitting them, you come here and ask?!

they should fit.

yo man, i got 18x8s and 225/40s and the tread is too small for the wheels.....i think that if I went with 235s, which wouldve fit the wheel better, that i wouldve rubbed in the back of my maxima.......bottom line is, if the wheels fit, get 235/40/18 tires

225 is what people are recommending for 18*7.5. If you put that tire on the 18*8 then the tire won't really look right on the rim. It'll look like it's folding over too much. If the company you're buying them from says it'll fit.. get them. But make sure they will take them back if they don't.
