Need Help. Replacing Timing Belt for gen 3 Camry.

Hi there.

I'm reaching the 75,000 mile mark on my 94 camry and I need to replace my timing belt. Should I buy the timing belt online somewhere and and go to an auto body to have it installed and if so where can I purchase this online? or should I just go straight to the auto body and have them buy it and install it all at once.

Thanks in Advance,
Tom

I don't know how much the timing belt is, but I'm due for a change too on my '93 LE, the dealer was gonna charge $195 in terms of labor....he didn't mention the timing belt cost so I'm going to assume that it's negligible compared to labor, just find some reputable auto shop and have them do it, at least that's what I'm doing.

Cool

Timing belt cost is $25-$45.

Normally you replace the water pump, and acessory belts (a/c-alt belt, and powersteering belt) also. If nothing else change all the belts. The other two can be hand for less that $20.

I would also do the oil pump housing seal while the belt is off.
