would it be possible to for a gen3 owner to get a pair of gen3.5 headlights, and a gen3.5 grill and then just pop them onto a gen3? if i had a gen3 id do this to my car, cause i dont like the gen3 headlights and grill insert, but i love he way the 3.5 looks. anyone know for sure??? seems like it should work that way, but im not certain.
just a thought that i came across while looking at some pics of someones gen3, maybe one of you guys can do this "mod"

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.
Same deal with the gen1-2 ES 300. Looks the same, but nothing will swap easily.
