New tire for 93 Camry

My 93 Camry (i4) came with Dunlop D80 A2 tires, and now all of them need replacement.

I just called a local store and asked for Yokohama Avid T4, if they have in stock, which they do. They also mentioned that Bridgestone Daytona would be better (and cheaper).
When I mentioned that the car came with Dunlop D80 A2, they said they still have 8 in the warehouse, which surprised me as this model is discontinued. I like the Dunlop, but a bit wary with old stock.

Any suggestion which direction should I take ?

Get any of the newer ones. Chances are the old stock will have dried out rubber. They'll only sell them to you because they want them out.

If you're not into performance, I suppose any kind of good brand tire should work. Tirerack.com should have plenty of info on new tires available.

I too would stay away from any tire that old. The Dunlop Sport A2's replaced the Dunlop D60 A2's that you now have on your car. I have the Sport A2's on both my 94 and 98 Camry 4 cylinders. They are a good compromise for an all weather, H speed rated tire. They even do pretty good in the snow here in Chicago, which probably isn't a big concern to you in Lubbock, Texas LOL.
