Ratko man idk where you found all this but damn... and thank you!
I always wondered why the steep drop in RPM's on the 1-2 shift on my 5-speed... now I know why... damn. Seriously it knocks you back from redline to 4k.
But I digress- thank you thank you thank you
Steve

it "recommends" 91 octane or better for optimum performance but it really won't hurt the engine to use regular...i used regular for about a year and a half and just switch to premium recently and have gotten a little better gas mileage and better performance....but it's ur money

When in doubt, use the search function (link)...no one is spoon fed...
When you get knocked back down to 4k you are still in the powerband so no worry about why it knocks you down (its in the peak of the powerband too look at dynos for shift points)

I own a '96 Camry V6 LE sedan and have found this info very useful; thank you! I always put 87 octane in mine and have not had any problems with it. I fully filled it up with 91 octane a couple of times, but didn't notice much of a difference.
