3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I was just thinking, would you be able to fit a gen 4 bumper (for bodykit) on a gen 3? What would be involved if possible? Has this ever been done? Just got to thinking tonight if it would be possible or not.
If so could someone photochop a pic of my car with either a Black Widow or Xtreme Front Bumper? Thanks in advance.
Black Widow
Xtreme

im pretty sure they offer Black Widow for the Gen 3,3.5, i doubt it the grill/headlights is all different and it would probably look like ass anyway
BTW dude your car's clean as hell dont add a body kit to it just drop it, i am kinda starting to get tired of my RMM lip, i really like the way Gen 3.5 look stock w/ rims and dropped

Thanks man. I can't wait to put my rims back on too. I hate the steelies but with NY winters i'm not taking a chance messing them up.
Yea I agree with your opinion on not getting a kit. In some ways I think it's be tight and look nice, but can see it also looking tight with it just being dropped. I'd like to drop it with dropzones or sprint springs cause they offer the lowest drop and I shouldn't have to worry about rubbing. But am not sure if I should just wait till I can afford the springs/tokicos/install or just get the springs and install. I say this because I had all 4 of my struts replaced either last fall or 2 falls ago, but they have like 5-6000 miles max on them so I know it'd be a while before i'd have to worry about them blowing and getting performance ones.
I'd also like to add at least a magnaflow muffler if not do a custom cat-back exhaust set up.
But this all won't be for a while till I get steady financially.

I don't know just got to thinking with an idea. Wouldn't actually do it just wanted to know if it'd be possible.

I can get you a better price than Andy's. Several people have already bought from my company. We have camry body kits up the ying yang. The blackwidow ones we have as well as the swift and cyber kits.
Lemme know, Durby, if you want a kit. Ask for Yukio and mention the Toyota Nation Discount.
Aight let me just clear the air cause it seems a lot of you guys are taking it the wrong way. I never said I was planning on doing this. I was just drunk as hell last night and got to thinking if it was possible or not. Thats it. Not that I planned on doing it or if it looked good or not. I know there are the same kits available for my gen, just was wondering.
Knailgun: Sorry man I have an I4
Yukio: You'll be the first person I go to if I decide to go the bodykit route.
