Gen4 Center console

My Gen4 camry is practically MINT, accept for one small detail...

the lid on my center console that opens to the storage area (behind the cup holders) has been broken for a while. The arms that connect it to the base are intact, but the piece of plastic that connects the lid to the center console has been broken. so the lid moves forward and backwards, held on only by the arms.

to make a long story short, my interior color is tan/brown/gold.

is there ANYONE that has a center console that is intact? even just the lid and plastic piece? i can post pics if necessary if you dont know what i mean. color of the console is a must, or at least the lid, which is brown.

please PM me with a price or post here. i've searched junkyards and ebay for a brown center console and come up VERY Short. please help me

thanks all

That sucks... my latch broke as well, luckily it was covered under warranty...because the dealer told me that they don't just sell the latch- you have to buy the whole lid mechinism... which costs like 80 bucks. The repair would have cost me about 170 bucks (including labor) if it wouldn't have been under warranty... all for a small stupid little plastic latch that probably costs them about 25 cents. The price you pay for owning a Toyota...lol.

I have all other parts of the lid, but the latch itself is broken... and it's gray.
