The S/C caused my slow rear main seal to BURST and oil spilled all over the place while I was driving. MY car is going to go into the shop after Allen's car is out of the same place.

97 4 cylinder has 170,000 km & runs fine . No engine work no leaks no oil burning. I am not fastitiuos about oil & filter changes but come close to recommended. Even brakes have never been touched & plenty of pad left on fronts . Mostly long trip highway miles no commuting & no hot weather. Body has no rust either. Lasting better than my 86 Volvo 740!
Even Air conditioner works good still (talking won't Jinx me will it?)
103000, running great with new engine. I blew the last one about a year ago. After installing the turbo it lasted about 8 months. I still have the turbo set up tho.
