3rd Generation Anyway To Convert My 92 Rear Trunk To The 95-96 Rear Trunk Lid???help

HI everyone,this site is great,so many experts on ym camry.its priceless .ok i have a simple exterior question.i have a 92 camry le.and i have the reflector part on my rear trunk lid.as they all do from 92-94.i like the way the 95-96 model has the metal back on the trunk.im curious if their is some way to covnert the rear trunk lid.would it fit??do they line up right??or no,has anyone tried it??ive seen the rear trunk lid painted and it looks good.but id rather convert to the rear trunk lid from the 95-96 models.please email me back with some advice and info

I did a conversion on mines..92 to a 95-96..Everything bolt on Nicely..all you need is get the back panel and all the screws would fit prefectly..Look at this pic for now..until i find mah other pic..

the back is converted to a 95-96..even the lights are from a 95-96..

yup.... it should be simple installation since the bolts will align nicely. if you're gonna go for a conversion though, go all the way and grab a scepter panel . those, my friend, are beyond nice.

I gotta 93 with that reflector rear panel. All I did was get it painted, i think it lookes much cleaner, no offense gen 3.5ers. Whatever u decide is sweet.

yup...the black center panels were only available on the dx and SE packages....the only Gen3's with a 5 speed

Knailgun..That isnt True..i used to have a 92 Camry with a Black Panel..It was an Automatic..They come in different varieties..Some black panels even come with v6 autos and v6 stick..and if your car doesnt say SE or DX on it..i prefer calling it a DX..
