GEn 4 camry solars glow guages ona gen 4 reg camry
On eBAY they have glow guages for both gen 4 (97-99) Camrys and gen 4 Camry Solaras (97-99.)
The glow guages are halo glow guages for the camry solara and look abit better than the glow guages for the reg gen 4 camry in my opinion.
The only difference on the Solara glow guages is that the gas guage is on the right side whereas the gas guage in the reg camry is on the left. Otherwise, the shape of each glow guage piece is exactly the same on both cars.
My question is, do you think if I get the Solara halo glow guage for my reag gen 4 camry and just arrange the placement of the gas guage on the left side (as it is in stock), that the solara guages will fit.
check out these two pictures and compare. each guage piece seems identical in size and shape on both the camry 97-99 and camry-solara 97-99.
This first picture is of the camry solara halo glow guage, and the second pic is of the reg camry glow guage.
Have you looked on cardomain to see them actually installed in a car. Mine looked a whole lot different (as in hue,sat and brightness) compared what they take on eBay.. look at those pics.
They take pics of those guages in a pitch black room or somethin half the time and take a pic with no flash.
And my glow gauges look like those from the first pic if you want those then buy from This guy or somethin(This is who I bought mine from All you had to do was keep looking for the style you wanted

FYI: Camry gen 4/4.5 and solara gen 1/1.5 have the same gauges! The only difference are the a/t and the m/t gauges wherein the a/t have the spot in the middle for the PRND2L
What's up yaaaar! kya hal hai? I'm desi too. have you tried those solara glow guages on ur'z?? or have you found any better ones.
BTW, is it possible to change the backlight behind the guage panels to a flourescent white light??? I think white would really make the guages come alive at night.
To get a nice white you would need to custom wire a bunch of white LED's. Replacing the 5 194 gauge bulbs with LED's gives an uneven light distribution. Here is a picture of my reverse glow gauges from procarparts. I'm going to be getting rid of these in the near future.

kaisay ho Yaar, hehe....
I have a solara, btw i've removed my glowgauges...now looking for reverseglows. If your looking for changing the back lights, go to clublexus.com and get teh dude to mail you some nice hyperwhite bulbs (without the condoms - condoms make it look green/red). They look sweet on our cars. There is one whole 70+ page thread there on SC gauges and changing the back lights. if anyone houston local is looking for my glow gauges..you have take mine for $20 delivered to you door personally!
thanx for the headz up bhai! I'm abit unclear though. i was on that 70 page forum and went to his website, but he seems to only sell products for Lexuses. Where can i find those hyperwhite bulbs (without condoms) that you mentioned can you put a link. that'd be great yaar!. Thanx
