3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I had 215/45/17 on the car and just changed them to 225/45/17 this past weekend. Nothing rubs when I'm driving alone but when I have passengers in the back, sometimes it does rub when I hit big bumps (eg. train tracks). So I would recommend 215/50/17. You can take a look at it at the next meet.
Yes, i have a 99 camry and my tires are 225/45/17, and when i have people in the back seat it does rub a little when i hit large bumps as well... but other than that i have no problems they ride great...
yea 215 45 17 are fine. i ran that on my camry and its dropped about an inch and i have no problems only with people in the back...because i tend to pack 4-5 people in the back at once
