1998 Camry Stereo Install ...

Hello there, this is my first post here,

I'm trying to install a deck into my fathers 1998 Camry V6 XLE, and i'm having some problems

1) I can't find a 1998 Camry Wiring diagram for the stereo, so i went to canadian tire and got the American International TWH-950CLF Car Stereo Wiring Harness. When i went to go plug it in i noticed something was wrong, because the AI one had to plugs and mine only had one. Now i'm lost and i don't know what to do

I noticed on the Ai website that they have another one TWH-951, but i'm not sure if that one's the right one either.

HELP!, what did you guys do to install your decks in a 1998+ Camry / Solara?

Get a different one

I just installed mine last week. Perhaps you ought to purchase another wiring harness from a different place like Best Buy or The Good Guys, although I'm not sure if you Canadian guys have that. Otherwise, it ought to be just plug and play.

This thread is about 6 disc changer, but is the same in your case. There are two harness' avail. I ended up getting the correct one from a local Audio shop. The important thing to tell them is that you have factory amps.

BTW- Are you Tony the Tigers friend? Screen name looks familiar.
