Hi, I just bought a 2000 Camry LE

...
And I bought the 2nd remote and succesfully programed it(it locks and unlcoks).
However, the truck opener button doesn't work(only make a beeping sound and nothing happens)??
The original remote doesn't have the trunk opener buttom(one of the reason I bought 2nd)
I thought these Camrys come with power trunk??(According to Edmund)

Can anyone tell me how to find out that my car is equiped with remote trunk opening feature(if so, how about power trunk opening).

comes as an additional option.
most likely u do not have it

I haven't seen a Gen 4 Camry that has a power trunk opener. I thought they first showed up on Gen 5.

If it doesn't pop the turnk, you do not have the option installed in the vehicle. If it makes a noise, it may be possible to hook one up, though I have no idea how. Probably you'll need a solenoid and find the control unit for the keyless entry and wire it up.
