need help with new gen 3 SE V6

hey yall, i just bought a 94 V6 SE after my 95 XLE V6 was totaled after being rearended. i plan on taking off all my parts from the 95 and puting them on the 94. i have a muffler, intake, springs, wheels and a front lip. i know everything will switch except the springs. they are Sprint II suspension springs. i know that the SE has much tighter suspension, but can i switch the springs. if i do, how will the car ride? better or worse. ANY help would be great thanks

yes you can swap the springs, it will probably ride better then ya old xle if the se has stiffer oe shocks. the resulting drop will be the same as in ya old cam.

^ I htink he means ride better than your se springs, since the sprint springs are newer

and actually, if you have a front lip, it's not going to fit your new 94 cam, the 94 was the last of the gen3, while your old 95 was a gen3.5 with a different front bumper.

If you take a close look you can see the difference quite easily, and since most lips need cutting and attachment to the little vents on the stock bumper (rmm lip, razzi lip) the vents are very different between the two differing bumpers of hte gens

nah i mean if the se has stiffer shocks, theyll match the stiffer sprints better then the xle's oe comfort ones -- less bounce

if the lip won't fit, and you still like it, you could just swap the whole bumper cover over I'm sure, and repaint it.

well the lip is actually the lower bumper off a 93 Ford Taurus painted to match so it can go on either the gen 3 or 3.5

it looks good, aspecially for the money...the thing cost me 10 bucks at a junk yard and being a college student...thats a god-send. i also got a sick spoiler for my old gen 3 from a 99 saturn SC2...also cheap as hell and painted perfectly to match. thanks for the replys about the springs. im getting the car on wednsday and can't wait to get it all done.
