98 Camry for $5,000 Good deal??

Considering buying a 98 Camry 4dr LE with 101.000 miles on it.

Can get it for $5,000. CarFax looks good - only two owners no bad stuff.

No maint. records available so may need timing belt and water pump as preventative action.

Sound like good deal???

HOLY CRAP you're doing exactly what I did like 4 weeks ago. I got a 1998 Camry LE with 101,000 miles as well lol. I got mine for 4800!

Just check the vin for the obvious stuff and try not to get a rental car, because people beat the crap outa those.

umm I woulda definetly bought your car had I known. unfortunatly most people here found this place because they had a problem with there new used car that they've allready bought. If you get that car in the city paper (not sure where ya live) it'll probably sell in a few days for 6 grand.

that might help out cos posting on TN might not be sufficient..

also, the local papers will definately help and cost like $20 or so

I had a FS sign in it for a while. I posted it on numerous web boards. I don't have the 50 bucks to put it in the paper... too many other things going out.
