As long as you smoke the inside and don't smoke the reflector it isn't noticeable.

You can also go to your local hobby shop and buy a spray-on tint for model cars. The brand is "Testor", and it costs ~$5/can.

Gen5

I have an 03 camry... I smoked the rear taillights at the clear area. For me, California state vehicle makes u have whatever light visible for at least 300 feet. So if ur lights are visible for 300 ft in Ca. u should be good. dunno about other states but give or take 300 ft.

FYI: I highly recommend puttin about 5-7 coats of the tint spray.... and then 5 coats of clear laquer. thats what i did.... how do u post a pic? ill post it

4th Generation

i was thinking about getting a clear smoke spray paint and lay the reflective portion of the headlights. i guess i could get brighter headlight bulbs to compensate for the shade. i was thinking about getting silverstars anyway.

NOOOOOO!!!! unless u get projectors, do not do this, the light bulb needs refraction to make it shine.. you will output NO LIGHT whatsoever if you do the whole housing....

1.) Find a place to upload the pics, so they're hosted on the internet. Your internet service provider may offer web space, colleges/universities do, and so do various internet companies (ie. photobucket, webshots, yahoo photos, etc.).
2.) Upload the photos using the website's instructions, or a file-transfer program.
3.) Open the photo on the internet, right click it, select "copy image location"
4.) Using image tags, post the link to the photo in the reply box.
ex:
For a photo I loaded at http://photos.yahoo.com/bGuy216/camryrules.jpg, I would use the image tags, (img)http://photos.yahoo.com/bGuy216/camryrules.jpg(/img). But be sure to replace the parentheses () with brackets [], because image tags are defined by brackets, not parentheses.
