Does anyone have 97+ S51 pics?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone had some 97+ S51 pics on hand. I'm comparing it to my 1991 S54, and I wanted to see the external differences, if any, on it. I'm looking for transmission options for my V6 swap, and with MR2 turbo hubs, axles (Camry/Solara intermediate shafts too), and E153s becoming rarer by the day, I just want something that'll make my life a bit easier.

The Camry/Solara I4 S51 is geared VERY similarly to the Camry/Solara V6 E153. There's some slight differences, but overall, it's extremely close. If the late model S51s are built like the S54s, then the only real weak point in the tranny is the differential. That won't be a problem for me since I don't plan on supercharging.

I'd really appreciate if you guys have any pictures of an S51 laying around. I'd need shots from all angles. You can e-mail them to me at jaybe@charter.net, if you need to.

Thanks

I have an S51 swapped in. I went with the S51 since the gears are a little shorter and I want to be faster off the line. I dont plan on pushing huge power so it should be fine. It was easier to do since you wont need axles, hubs, all the holes line up, no mixing of clutch components, and its easier to find.

The S51 is used in all generation Camrys with the 5S-FE, and is geared a lot longer than the S54. The S54 would've created too much in cabin noise in a Camry/Solara for feasible use, even with a 3.944 diff. ratio. There was a misprint in the 1991 MR2 Service manual that accidently showed S51 instead of S54. My mom's 2000 Camry manual also shows the S51 is still in use.

..... 1st ... 2nd ... 3rd ... 4th ... 5th . Diff ratio
S51 3.538 1.960 1.250 0.945 0.731 3.944
S54 3.285 1.960 1.322 1.028 0.820 4.176 (also 3.944 overseas in some 3S-GEs)
