I am skeptical about the quality of such an inexpensive CF hood (even before the g/b discount). Just my opinion...

Also, what about the quality of the shipping container? Has it been improved and will it survive a trip thought US/CAN customs ?

S+H for such a large package will be quite a % of the purchase cost. Just stuff to consider, that's all.
