wait a second using high beams in fog reduces your visibility.
so why have everything on...unless you really want to light up the road in fair weather fill me in here why you want everything on?

I just want to know why teh cars in Australia can do it and mine cant
errr...you could custom re-wire your fogs seperate from the headlight relays so they wouldn't be switched off as high beams come on. make a seperate interior switch for full manual control of your fogs kinda like an aftermarket foglight setup.
well the Camrys in Australia are a bit different to the US ones...
for example, the Gen5.5 V6s still run Gen4 V6 mechanics
as with the headlights, i wouldnt know why they are different... just made in different countries i guess...
with different wiring, electrics etc etc...
we dont have DRLs either btw
but overall having the foglights on with the highbeams on, isnt all that useful...
well it does lightup the gap inbetween the front of your car and the beam on the road
not a big deal but now that I know it can do it and it wont it is buggin me
yeah i know the feeling
like you guys get the 3MZFE in the Camry SE...
we dont get that, we dont even get VVTi in the 1MZFE...
we got the 3MZFE in the Kluger, and my dad drives one, so close enough
well if you really want to change this foglight thing...
as someone said before, you can do some rewiring i guess, but not worth it in my opinion...
i think if you go to an auto electrician they can fix that problem. coz when i was installing my Xenon Kit for the camry, the guy try to switch them on and it works, but when they flick the high beam, the normal driving lights would turn off (I'm not sure what they did, but they solved the problem) and now when all my lights are off and i flick the high beam, the normal lights will turn on too so 4 lights turn on together
I used to deliver pizzas for Domino's back in the day, and let me tell you, more light is always better when you are looking for a house on a poorly lit street. Especially the combo of high beams and foglights. The high beams light up the neighborhood, and the fogs light up the front sides nicely (where the mailboxes are). And then the handheld 1 million candle power spotlight didn't hurt either...
