2nd Generation Camry in NASCAR in '07

In today's Greensboro, NC news paper there is an article stating that Toyota will field Camrys in the 2007 Cup and Bush series. They plan to make a formal anouncement that will be broadcast on Speed Channel on Monday at 12:15 PM. "Sacrilege!!!"

There is also another article stating that the Celica will be dropped from the US lineup. No '06 Celica.

Ford races the Taurus. Fwd on the showroom, RWD on the track.

Do you still consider them Japanese when they're also built in Kentucky? Are Corollas built in Fremont, Ca Japanese cars? What about Tundras built in Indiana (and soon Texas)?

Try telling a Texan who builds Tundras for a living that you like his little Japanese truck. I'll go ahead and reserve your ambulance now...

^ It's a Japanese car because THAT is where the car and design originated from.

Would you call a Ford made in Germany, a Geman car?

This is pretty old news... we've known this for almost a year now....

But that aside, Camry's in NASCAR....

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Yeah, don't make dumb statements. If its a Toyota, its a Japanese car, no matter where its made. I'll tell that Texan that I love his little Japanese truck.
