I haven't looked at the stopping distances and how they might vary between models of the 2005 Camry, and I have idea if the various models use larger calipers or rotors (V6 is larger than I4), BUT, depending upon how many miles are on the car, make sure the master cylinder is 100%, bleed the brakes out well so you have clean fluid at the calipers and there is no hint of air. Get good, somewhat soft, pads. Make sure the rotors are a bit scuffed up. New ones with lap marks are better than turned without lapping marks, or get hold of a grinder/sander and scuff them up so that you have a rough surface. They will stop better than factory until the rotors smooth out. Beyond that there is only so much you can do to stop faster, so consider slowing down a little.
