Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
0-60 times aren't just power to weight. They're heavily influenced by gearing as well. I'm not sure if anyone knows the specs on the gear ratios yet for the new '07.

Well they might be lower because the latest car and driver complained that you couldn't turn off the traction control. The artical was called 'The Anti-Sport Sedan'. (They claim that 'with the tinyest chip of wheel spin the car slaps you on the wrist and doesn't function for 0.5 seconds)
I just don't understand how you can't turn off TCS. Well, those car magazine editors writing those things aren't engineers, (at least the ones I have met) they are sometimes stupid when it comes to technical stuff. As a powertrain engineer, I have dealt with those magazine editors doing test drives, and man, some of them you just want to slap them on the face for being so ignorant and stupid. "I thought L range was for sport mode." L range is for lower gears so you can use engine brake stupid.
I recently read Car and Driver in the library and it said something like 8 seconds for the 4-banger. I don't know about the V6 though. The writers did say the traction control slowed the car down. Frankly, if I got a Camry I wouldn't care. As long as its smooth and gets on the highway all right, I'll be happy.
