Gen5 05 Camry LE noise problem

My camry seems to have some problem(s) with the rear suspension. Everytime I drive when the engine is cold, I always hear a noise from my rear that last about 4 seconds . I have it checked by Toyota servicemen this morning and they said it's only the ABS actuator that's creating that sound and they said that kind of sound is normal for camry. I also have a wheel alignment last February 03 (at Toyota) thinking that it will solve the problem beacause it's also drifting to the right everytime I travel on a straight road but it didn't solve the problem. The Service advisor called me it's normal and they didn't see any problem and even told it's safe to drive. I've asked my friends who have the same make and model but they told me they don't experience these kind of problems. Do you think they're telling me the truth or they just don't want to do the repair because my car is still under warranty. I'm thinking of trying other repair shop like Pepboys to have it checked if toyota cannot solve this problem. What do you guys think? Please advice.

What kind of noise is it? I don't see any reason for them to lie to you - they get paid to do warranty work..it's not like they do it for free. Unless it's a sound that you're worried about (as in, something sounds like it's broken or going to give way) then I wouldn't worry about it. My Camry also drifts to the right.. I meant to search for similar posts here..will do that later.

Gen5

Sounds like my passenger side rear wheel is giving way that's why i'm worried specially when driving on freeway that it would suddenly break or thrown apart. Untill now the technician haven't figured out what really the problem is and they asked me to leave it overnight at their shop and they'll have a look again tomorrow morning if the problem still exists. They told me it's normal for all 05 camrys to hear that noise from ABS actuator (when I'm driving at 5 mph) but I don't think so. Besides, I've also complained about the stiff shifter (when shifting from park to reverse or drive) there's a strong resistance even though I've step hard on the brakes. There's also a break concern because I have to step on the brake pedal really hard to stop the vehicle. I've asked my friends to drive test my car and they noticed the difference from their car. That's why I'm loosing my trust in them. If they can't work it out maybe I'll just try to check with other repair shops because I'm not satisfied with their service. Huh! Are these problems really NORMAL? They keep insisting it's normal that's why im posting it here to check if other camry drivers have experienced this type of problems.

Thanks.

My 2005 SE 4 cyl has done that ever since I bought it. Even my old 1992 Camry did that (but with a slightly different tone). Upon starting the car, once you hit a certain speed (like a few miles an hour or so), the ABS does some kind of self test or "charge up" that makes that sound. The best way I can describe my sound is a 4 sec "grumbling".

Maby it is just the fule pump. Put you key in and make the starter crank but DONT START IT. If you here the noise then it is your fule pump.

I experienced pulling to the left, especially on the highway, and after Toyota checked tires and rims and balanced them, it still was a problem and they blamed Tire Mfg and I went to Dunlop service and they aligned car and it still pulled, but not as much.
After leaving this alone for 3,000 KM, I rotated tires and problem went away. I could drive straight on highway without any pull.
