5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I just spotted a 2007 Toyota Camry on Artesia in Torrance, CA.
I was getting a mixed up feeling on that car. Kinda nice and kinda bleh. Rear and side look sweet, very nice touch. But front... that front is... zoom zoom Mazda style... hehe. :p
You know, the one thing i don't get is why do all of these gen 6's have Michigan manufacturer plates? I haven't seen a single one in Michigan, and the only one I have seen so far was in Ohio...

I say the Gen5's are classic camry's they are the best looking IMO. The Gen6's tho, the back end is alright but the front is way to big and soft looking......I hated the fact toyota started making thier trucks with "soft" looking fronts. and they are continuing this trend with thier camry's
I think im ending my camry ownership with the Gen5's After my Gen5 i will probably buy a non-toyota just because toyota is going in a dircetion that is no longer appealing to me. Its crazy that Toyota is the biggest car company in the world and they are the only one without a single sports car in thier line-up....when it was thier MR2's, Supra's, and Cellica's etc... that maade them famous.
^ Yeah, the gen 5 is the last of the "classic Camry" - now it's a completely different beast. Out of all of generations of Camrys, I think I like the gen 3.5 best.
