5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I'm looking to get a 2007 V6 LE Camry (w/ moonroof pkg), but I'm not sure what a good price is. I've looked at Edmunds to find MSRP, Invoice & TMV, but I'm interested to find out what people are actually paying for the 2007 Camry's (not just the model I'm looking at but all 2007 Camry models). I'm especially interested to hear from people that bought in the Bay Area (since this is where I'm at and looking to buy).

It's new car and I dont think there will be much difference going from dealer to dealer. You might save an extra couple of hundred from one deal vs another.
Like TOYOTATODAY said, this is a brand new car and dealers are not willing to lower the price very much. I was able to get my dealership down 500 for my 07'XLE V6 but that is about it. Since it is toyota hottest car right now and lots of people are crazy about it, the dealers know that if you dont wanna pay what they asking for, the next customer will. I can tell you though that the dealerships are throwing the 06's at you for almost any price that you willing to give. It's amazing how much you can get a 06' XLE for now!!!!!!!!!!!

Really? I am so sorry to hear that. Hopefully no one was injured.
Thanks. My wife and 3 year old son are fine. Neither even had a bruise. I posted the story in the official test drive thread. I'm very impressed with the safety features.
our '06 LE was actually more expensive than the '07 CE. it was only by $100, but still.....
the '07 CE was like $20,145 and our '06 LE was like $20,245 or something. they are running a $500 rebate on '07s and a $3500 on '06s. i thought it was pretty cool that just because it is a new body style (awesome at that) that they didn't jack the prices up. they have addded a lot of standard safety features and interior deressings and not really raised the price.
the '07 CE is the base model, but it had more standard features and comforts then the '06 LEs have.
I just paid $300 over dealers invoice for an '07 XLE 4cyl. w/ leather, heated seats, VSC/TC, and carpet/trunk mats in the Seattle area. Titanium w/Ash Interior
I had quotes of $300, $400, $500 and $600 over invoice from the dealers internet salesmen.
The day I brought the car home the dealer that quoted me $500 over invoice sent me an email and asked if I would deal at $199 over his invoice.
Just ordered an SE spoiler w/installation kit, mudguards from toyotapartspeople.com who have most of the accessories posted now. Cheaper than EBAY!!!!!!!!!
Just sent for my extended warranty (84/100,000/0 deductible, Toyota Platinum) from the lowest price Midwest dealer I could find.
39% under the Toyota List price.
My Zaino will be here today so I can get it stripped and shined up.
Rides great, no rattles, solid.
Have the Bridgestone Tires (260 A A ratings) on it.
Bluetooth works super w/verbal commands. Going out today to transfer my phonebook to the car so I won't have to touch the phone.
AM/FM sound great, haven't tried an MP3/CD yet.
The manual shifting of the Automatic is smooth and easy, 1st thru 5th and back again.
Want to get the best price? It's called shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know this may be a little O/T, but for those few of you who aleady have an '07.........
Does it feel more refined than the Gen 5's?? Smoother?? Quieter?? Tighter??
Just curious as when the Gen5's first came out I wasn't as impressed as when they went from Gen3 to Gen4. My Gen4's a keeper, but looking to swap the old Prizm for an '07 Camry if they reeeeeeally are a bump up from the Gen5's.
