2005 LE valve noise

I bought a 2005 LE two weeks ago with 25,000 km on it ( about 16,000 miles). after a week or so of driving, once the rain stopped, I had the windows open and started to notice valve noise. I thought it might be pinging, which is what it sounds like, ( although the LE 4 cyl takes regular gas) so I added some premium- but that had no effect. i hope that it's just valve noise and not something more expensive: how am I covered under warranty if there is a serious valve adjustment problem? My plan is to go back to the dealer that I bought it from and raise heck, as they gave it a clean bill of health as "Toyota Certified". I also may go to my regular Toyota dealership and have them do a 100 point check- I 've dealt with them for 12 years so I trust them.

search this forum and the web for "camry valve tick" Some people think it may be an intake manifold air rattling, others say it's the way VVT-i is implemented in the 2AZ-FE...

There is a recal on the intake manafold on 2002-2004 camrys with the 2AZ-FE but my 2005 le makes the clicking noise from the intake so its not impossibe the we got a leftover intake in the manufacturing plant. Also the 2AZ-FE has a timeing chain, it tends to make a slaping noise in lower rpms.
