coated windshield on 07 camry?

just curious if the 07 camry has a coated windshield? i just brought an 07 SE V6 (beautiful car, will take pics soon since its been raining for 2 days straight), and my Garmin GPS device cannot get a good signal. I have yet to try in another vehicle but the device worked fine in my Toyota RAV4. I can only guess that the 07's have some type of coated windshield or at least the SE does. According to Garmin's website they may an external antenna for such a predicament. But I don't want to shell out the $100 bucks if it's not going to work properly.

well, it is the windshield in the Camry preventing the GPS from acquiring satellite signal. Oh well, I'll have to buy the external antenna. This is just an FYI for those that don't get the nav system in the se or xle and use a GPS device from either Garmin or TomTom, for example, it won't work without an external antenna.
