07 Camry SE owners - seats questions

Hey, (new here)

I've been looking at the 07 Camry for awhile (hope it's a good one) and i have a question maybe you guys could answer.

I'm looking at the SE version, and i see it says "sport fabric material" and "sport seats"

What exactly is the difference between the seat and the fabric compared to the regular LE (which i was able to see in person)?

Can anybody provide some pictures? that'd be great

Kyle

Here you are:

LE with ordinary seat fabric, no silver accents on doors, no silver cover on the cubbyhole and no leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

Here is the SE, Canadian market has only the black interior while US seems to have black and grey. Notice the different shape of the seats (sporty seat back). However, if you are looking for a Manual SE, it has a slightly different interior. Instead of the footstep handbrake (i.e. parking brake pedal) , you do get the traditional style handbrake. Here is the link: Found a pic of 07 Manual SE

Kyle,

Indeed, the SE seats are substantially different from the seats in all of the other models -- they definitely have more "bolstering," and you can see how, for instance, the middle of the seat cushion extends beyond the side bolsters at the front. Also, the cloth material is substantially different than the LE cloth. If the idea of "more bolstering" appeals to you, I'd bet you'd find the SE seats to be a bit more comfortable than the seats in the other models, or at least more "form-fitting" to your body....

Thanks a lot guys, answered it perfectly.

Well i'm going manual all the way baby, so i hope the difference is only the handbrake area. I'm Canadian, and fairly keen on a nice dark interior all around like in those pics.

Great, I am Canadian too. I personally love the SE with the extra deep and dark colour seat. So are you going with the LE or SE, what colour?

I'm looking into a Black SE with no extra options, it seems to be well equipped with the basic stuff.

I'll be happy with the Black SE's features and feel yeah? From the pictures, it definately looks like a winner.

Good for you. haha, I hope I can get a Gen 6 soon too. Yes, the basic SE is already great for me, I like that cloth, leather wrapped steering, nice instrument cluster, nice grill, kit and spoiler. Last but not least, since I am 6'5", getting the extra package with sunroof will just diminish the headroom.

Haha, just in case maybe. I guess they didn't make it extra wide purposely for our market , maybe just wanna make the camry more toward the Avalon or Asian Market MarkX. Ya, I guess the Gen 6 seats are really wider than my Gen 5 ones, maybe because of the slight increase in shoulder width.
