Gen5 2004 Camry LE Spark Plugs?

My wife drives a 2004 Camry and is at 35,ooo miles. The manual recommends that the spark plugs be changed. What are your thoughts about Iridium plugs by either Denso or NGK?

That can't be right. At 35,000 miles, the spark plugs need to be changed already???? If you do this, you'll be changing the spark plugs every two years... which is never heard of. Even for older cars, you don't do that.

Is your a 4 cylinder? On my V6 GEN5, it's 190,000 km (So 118,000 miles) before the first spark plug change.
