Well if I was going to chose a little SUV it would be the RAV4. That is a nice vehicle. I got to drive one as a loaner when they upgraded my 07 Camry last week. They get pretty good gas mileage too. The drive is nice and tight. You sit up fairly high...all around nice vehicle.

The xB in my opnion is UGLY! However, I can fully understand it's desirability...if I was a young Dood having to share a place to live they would be a perfect choice. You can have your privacy in your xB that you cannot get in your shared House/Apartment...if you know what I mean.

cool well, i know you dont want to mess with the sizes of the wheel but i'd say get 17's...it'll look better i think.

i'm not sure what kind of forums you can join because our family doesnt have a honda. Since this is your first car i have some advice for you. You will be tempted to get somethings cheap, and somethings done cheap as well. Try your best not to. You do indeed get what you pay for, only on the rarest of rare occassions do you not.
So dont skimp on the sound, and dont skimp on the hood if you are going to do it, do it right.

Get a pioneer deck with some good speakers, and maybe a sub if you like bass. If you get a new head unit you will want new speakers, or you can blow out the stock ones before you get new ones! haha

My parents own a CRV and it's very comfortable. I would lay down in the back seat on long trips and the ride itself is pretty smooth. Good luck with your new CRV and yeah if you're going to get something done..it's always good to pay a little more to get it done right, last thing you need is your car falling apart :]

Again, thanks for all the advice. I'll definitely keep it in mind. Does anyone live in SoCali, preferably in the OC/714 area, and know any good shops? My dad goes to this ghetto Asian one that hasn't given him trouble yet, but I don't really know if they have alot of options.
