1.Better handling, more comfortable, but the extra tread might wear down your mpgs just a litttle bit. more surface area = better braking
10mms extra tread not that much, esp on 60 profiles.
2.In the snow, it depends on what kind of snow obviously, hard ice vs soft snow that your tires can cut through. once again, we're talking about a 10mm difference for daily driving. if you're worried about snow just get some chains..
3. just search online...

, usually the manufacturer's website links you to their distributor = websites you can buy from.
wheeldude.com, etc.
4. you can't put a tire on yourself...you need machines man. otherwise your gonna fck up your tire/rim with the straight crowbar. i dont even know where to begin with this question lol

if you REALLY want to save yourself 5-10$ for a single tire and trading hours of agonizing labor, then youtube "tire mounting DIY" or something. pretty hilarious.
5.
here's purpose of it
if you want to know which rims we have just use the search option, or the pictures thread, or the fitment thread (both which are stickied) and various member's "update" thread contains pictures and lists which wheel they're running......
most daily drivers who don't care about performance or grip just use all-season.
i personally only use hi-performance because it costs less and looks better on rims.
yes there are people who switch rims/tires depending on what season it is and where they live, but
here in socal, hi-performance all year is fine.
I went from stock size 205/55 to 275/35 (on different rims) lol there's no problem, just wider tires = less MPG.
the grip is insane though, what is sliding out?
you really should try to google some of your questions. no offense.

Yes 10mm is fine..

just throws the speedometer off by 1-2% that is all...
*assuming a 225/60 fits on your original rim width.
check manufacturer website.
