Question Question - 07 4cyl auto tranny mpg

I'm considering purchasing a 07 Camry with the 4 cylinder engine and auto transmission (just need to kill off my 98 Prism). I'm curious what time of mileage others are reporting with the same configuration. I do approximately 80% highway to 20% city driving.

i'm getting about 22-24 mpg city. not sure of the hwy, but would be better. i normally just drive to work and back home and my hubby drives us around on the weekends w/ his truck. so a tank is lasting me a lil over a week. traded in a v6 mustang that i was having to fill up every 5 days, so i'm loving it.

26.5 mpg avg over the last 4 tanks with 60% city.

You should get 28-31 with only 20% city.

My trip computer runs 1.2 mpg higher than actual.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping I could average 30 with all the highway driving I do. I'm after something more comfortable on the highway because the Prism/Corolla just isn't cutting it.
