2007 XLE - Tire Pressure Sensors?

In my (Canadian) owner's manual, it talks about the "Tire pressure warning system" (pages 174 - 180) and how to reset it with a switch near the glove box, etc.

However, I did not find the switch. I also did not find this feature listed in our Canadian brochure. The manual shows a drawing of an warning indicator beside the fuel gauge, but I don't see this in my car.

My feeling is the Tire pressure warning is not even available with the XLE V6 in Canada. I am surprised there are 7 pages in the manual talking about it?

Can someone confirm whether that the Tire Pressure Warning system is available with the Canadian models? Thanks.

I have come to the conclusion that the Canadian models do NOT come with tire pressure monitoring, despite what it says in the manual. Can anyone confirm this?

I have not heard the Canada cars came without, but I wish mine had come without. I real PITA if you want to upgrade your wheels/tires.

Canada

I looked as well and there does not seem to be any. The manual seems to be the same manual the americans get. It may be a blessing when and if you plan on using winter tires. Less PITA

The owners manual also implies that all auto. trans. have rear vents in the centre console. Aparently only the XLE have rear vents from what I have seen. In other words the owners manual is very inarcurate. Has Toyota always been like this? It's our first Toyota.

yes, toyotas have horrible manuals. i think it mostly has to do with the translation factor.
