5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
The dealer will install 18" BBS with Michelin Pilots 234/45/18 for $1922. They look great on the car. Who has a better deal? Even Tirerack is high on price for BBS. I think it's a BBS RX 18 X7.5 ET45. What wheel manufacture makes a clone or copy of this wheel?
I don't have a photo, but they're BBS RX 18 X 7.5 ET45. I don't intend to lower the car, it's my wife's daily driver. It will not look like a 4 X 4, the OD is very close to the OE tire/wheel OD.
I have not found many of the tire wheel houses offering BBS wheels.
here in texas i often see dealerships pushign BBS wheels on camry's, mostly they were on gen5's with the sports kit. The question you need to ask, are you willing to pay close to 2grand to toyota...or would you prefer something from tirerack (bbs or otherwise).
I think toyotaparts4u has them for under $300 each, assuming you are talking about the BBS RK. The best tire prices are just about always from the tirerack, where those wheels are $324 each, IIRC. Shops usually charge $80-150 to mount and balance a combo like that, so you might just want to get the whole deal from the tirerack.
OK, I know about tirerack, I have bought many sets of tires from them, but the dealer's quote is much less than tirerack. Here's a pic of the tire on an 07 Camry. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12.../bbsrx18X7.jpg

Can you please take another picture showing the whole Camry? I want to see how the BBS looks on the 07'Camry. Thanks.
As I mentioned in a previous post check out the AT Italia Inox. Those BBS are horrid. I have the BBS RX for wintertime and that is a MUCH better looking rim. Jon.
