07 Camry speakers

My 07 LE obviously doesnt have the JBL speaker i thought I was getting. I was wondering do you guys think it will be okay to have best buy or circuit city install some new ones ? I dont want them cracking my dash or door panels because they were new to the 07.

Did you not opt for the JBL 6-CD in your LE?

Take it to a reputable car stereo shop and watch them install everything. The door panel is easy to remove, don't know about the dash. Probably removes like most, from bottom up.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!

DON'T YOU EVEN DARE THINK FOR ONE MINUTE about going to Best Buy or Circuit City for any car stereo installation. "Cracking your dash or door panels" is EXACTLY what you'll get from the inexperienced punks that these stores hire.

Very most likely, you've got some kind of independent shop in town that has an excellent reputation, with a staff of actual adults who've been doing high-quality, careful work for decades. Ask your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and check around as best you can until you find such a shop. For instance, there is one shop in my area that is the ONLY place I'll allow to touch my car. Go find your equivalent.

And, to answer the rest of your question -- yes, they can always replace your speakers, but your speakers might be quite uniquely specified for your Camry's head unit -- there may be some things and may not be some things that a shop can really accomplish. The good shops will definitely tell you straight up what they can do, and what it'll cost you.

Good luck!

Good, good. And, don't take for granted that it'll even cost more. My place just has "list prices" on everything, but they always give you a big discount when they ring it up for you. Not that I have any problem at all with paying a few bucks more, making sure I've got better-quality equipment going in, and the best guys in the business working on my car!

Or you could even consider doing it yourself and save alot more money. Adn that way you buy buy much better equipment to put in, instead of getting jewed up the asshole by them companys that charge double sometimes triple the normal value you could easily get on the internet. Hell you could probably get most of your stuff directly from a certain company, than most of these local shops charge. Quite ridiculous if you ask me. Plus knowing you did your own work is quite rewarding. Much better than just saying yea.. "I dont even know what this is or what it even does, Hell i didnt even put it in, but damn is it LOUD!"

just my thoughts...
