Well, I'm sure it's more of a "demand" thing than "supply" -- it's just that they've got a buyer waiting for every hybrid they can deliver to this area. Given how these things are still all built in Japan, and how two-thirds of Toyota's imports come through LA/Long Beach and Portland, Oregon, it makes you wonder how Toyota must be spending needless dough to ship these cars anywhere else....

It depends on the Trim Model which plant it was Manufactured in, I forgot where I read which models will be made where, but ill see if I can find it.
