rattle in my 07 drives side B pillar

I have a rattle inside the B pillar drivers side on my 07. Driving me crazy, anyone else had this? Doesn't appear to be the exterior panels and you can tell it's internal. No the seat belt either (at least any of it you can see/touch) Wanted to check before I tear into it.

Hello, I think I may have the exact sound you are in my 2007 Camry V6 LE, manufactured date 04/06.

It sounds like a "metallic" rattle more than a plastic rattle and occurs when driving over...any road surface. I am unable to pinpoint it exactly, but it sounds like it's coming from around where the top of the drivers side door panel, window, and B-pillar meet. If I push against the door or window, the rattle disappears completely. The rattle also disappears (sometimes) after the car has been sitting in the sun for a couple hours. The rattle also mysteriously disappears when I take it to the dealer to check it out.

I was contemplating to tear down the panel myself, but it seems like the door panel is screwless and have no idea where to begin. The rattle drives me bonkers too, anyone else have any ideas or this exact same issue?

Take the car to the dealer and let them fix it. It is covered under warranty.

Sometimes it's easier for me to take a initial look myself than to leave my car with a dealer for a day, I have no ride to work and back home.

Not to mention to jump on a web forum to see if anyone else has it, fixed it, had the dealer fix it and what it was.

Really no need for a forum if everyone just says "take it to the dealer"

That is exactly what mine sounds like, although I haven't yet been able to push on anything that stops it but I didn't really go for the door, will try on my way home. If and when it goes to the dealer for it there is no way it won't do it because mine has yet to stop. It's bad too because it's right next to my ear and is driving me insane.

Both of my B pillars rattle. But since I'm having transmission problems, I've not bothered with the rattles yet.

Exactly, I am in the same "no-ride" situation to and from the dealer, and the last time I left it at the dealers, they didn't look at it until 6 hours later only to say, "there is no problem." I took a ride with them and yes, the rattle disappeared, but presented itself the following morning and every morning after that. I would rather fix it myself as well than waste more than half a day for the dealer to get around to it.

Move your seatbelt and see if that helps. Attach it like someone is sitting there. I bet your problem goes away.

Thanks, but I've already attempted moving the seat belt anchor up and down while driving and the rattle is still present. It's definitely not the seat belt anchor, but from somewhere in the door/windowsill area.

Didn't work for me either. It's coming from inside there.

Funny I just noticed something similar this weekend. I played with the seatbelt adjuster, but it didn't fix it either. Mine also depends on the road surface.

I have noticed the same problem with 2 V6 camrys i have tested...Seems to be in the passengers side, up in the window pillar area somewhere. Mentioned it to the sales person, gave me that idiot look and said 'i have not noticed any rattels in the car' ...Sounds like there is somethine loose in there...Ordering mine for a July build, hoping the rattle thing and the transmission issue is fixed...
